Never Too Late

What can I expect from this service?

The Never Too Late (NTL) program provides no-cost academic, social and emotional support to adult learners who want to complete their GED (General Education Development or high school equivalency). Learning occurs with a cohort of students who share the same dream: to become a high school graduate. Offering a learning style for every learner, in-person or virtual options are available, with daytime and evening groups to accommodate schedules. This program is designed to prepare adults to write the GED exams, all in a supportive setting with wrap-around support to reduce barriers to learning.

NTL participants meet two times each week for three and a half hours each day over a period of 19 weeks, with access to volunteer tutors outside of class time. Program staff work side-by-side with participants to identify and overcome barriers to completing their GED. NTL participants experience improved self-esteem and confidence, increased knowledge of community supports, make new friends and connections, and feel better prepared to write the GED exam.
